Note: May 9, 2008 President Ted Wojcik is going to be featured on WMUR NH Public TV on Friday 5/9 at 7:30. Be sure to tune in!!
May 4, 2008 Thanks to all who showed up yesterday to help clean up the field. The rain stayed away long enough to allow us to finish cleaning, but not long enough to get any flying in. Hope to see everyone up there this summer.
April 23, 2008 There is a scheduled field clean-up day for May 3rd, rain date May 10th. Let's all get out there and do our part. The more people that show up, the faster we get done, the more time we have to fly off of our freshly groomed field! If anyone has any of the following please bring them: rakes / shovels / hand tools / heavy duty weed wackers. If you don't know, bring it anyway, better to bring it and not use it, than not bring it and need it. The following jobs will be delegated: General cleanup, dismantling of the old trailer, remove large growth, repair of the safety fence, tractor maintenance, road work, shed maintenance.
April 22, 2008 There were several members up at the field this weekend. The road was pretty good, and will only get better. Renew your memberships, tell your friends, and get out there and go flying! The season is short, so exploit our "early" summer. We deserve it after one of the snowiest winters in history.
Thanks, Jason
Student Pilot Flight Manual is now available.
All, Have you heard of "Blogs" on the internet? A Blog is essentially a web site that allows people to keep a journal, hold a conversation or discussion that others can participate in. It's like email, but has a longer life span (more of historical aspect to it). Google offers a free Blog service they call "Blogger". The nice thing about a Blog is that anyone can come to the web site and submit a topic or comment on existing topics. I just created a Blog the other day to test it out. Try visiting http://www.carcmc.blogspot.com to see what I mean. If others in the the club would like to join, this might be an easy way to exchage ideas, having discussions, tell stories, etc. See what you think. If you setup an account, I can add you to the Blog as a "team member" and you will be able to submit your own postings, comments, etc. Let me know if you have an interest. Thanks, Chuck |
